chapter two- the conversations

Freckled Tornado walked down the streets of ponyville, searching for a good place in the shade. It was a hot day; hotter than any other day any pony has ever seen. " Heyo! ", cried a distinct voice. Freckled Tornado turned around wobbly as he laid his eyes on his wild, and dizzy headed, friend First Crush. " Oh, uh- hi there; First Crush. ", he replied, forcing a smile for only a few seconds. " I heared about you gettin' jealous yesterday night, because of that new colt ! Have you told Piscean yet ? ", cried First crush in a very fast manner. " I did no such thing. ", snapped Tornado. He opened his wings in pride, as if he had nothing to hide. " Don't you lie to me ! I saw the whole thing ! ", giggled First Crush rapidly. Tornado's eyes widened at the words he just heard. ' Did she really just say what I think she said ? ' wondered Freckle Tornado. " You stalked us ? ", he cried furiously; as if they were the only two in the whole village. First Crush looked disturbed at the way her friend looked at her. " No dummy, I was taking a stroll in the woods, I could see you two fighting the whole time. ", explained First Crush, as she knocked him on the head. " And then I saw the fire in your eyes... I got scared, so I ran before I could see if you told her. ", Crush admitted. Tornado looked at her in disgust. " Look, Crush; I would love to stay and chat with you, but I think I'd rather go talk to Warming Breeze about these kind of things. ", retorted Tornado as he tried to think of a good excuse to get away from the crazy foal. First Crush looked at him in astonishment. " Who could be more helpful with love than me ? Have you even heard my name ? Or took notice of what I do ? ", she cried angrily, narrowing her eyes, her wings spread farther than butter on toast. Tornado ran like a flash trying to get away from First Crush.

He spotted Warming Breeze at a nearby coffee shop, talking to a very familiar looking colt. Yes! He was a very familiar colt. Tornado held his breath as he walked up to find that Warming Breeze was having a conversation with Allstar. Tornado felt betrayed and hurt, but he walked up to them anyways. " Oh, hi there pal ! ", smiled Allstar welcomely. Freckled Tornado made a disgusted face at him. Warming Breeze made a shy smile as Freckled Tornado turned to face her. " Warming Breeze, I really need to- ", began Tornado. " I completely understand ! ", replied Breeze before he could finish his sentence. Breeze got up and left the two colts alone to talk.

Allstar looked around awkwardly as Tornado took Breeze's place. " This wasn't what I was wanting. ", glared Tornado. Allstar stared at him curiously. " So, that Piscean foal... she's uh- ", started Allstar; who was trying to make conversation. " Piscean is my best friend. Sure, maybe she doesn't really give me the time of day; but she's perfect in my eyes. ", gushed Tornado, a slight smile formed on his face. Allstar looked at him in amusement. " You really care for that foal, huh? ", he winked as if he knew what Freckled Tornado was thinking. " Who ? Me ? Of course not. That's gross ! ", protested Tornado. " Well, anyways- wanna grab your foal friend and race ? ", gestured Allstar innocently. Tornado looked at him in surprise. " You wanna hang out with me ? ", he asked in suspicion. " Yeah, sure. I mean, I don't really know too many ponies in this place anyways. So, why not ? ", retorted Allstar. Freckled Tornado looked at him meekly. ' Why is he being so nice to me? I've been so, horrid, to him. ' Tornado thought to himself as he climbed out of his seat. " You know, you're not bad, kid ! ", laughed Freckled Tornado. " Wow, thanks ! ", laughed Allstar sarcastically as he ruffled Tornado's hair.
